The exam dates for JEE Main 2024 session 2 have been revised by the NTA. The JEE Main session 2 is scheduled to take place from April 4 to 15, 2024, as per the updated information provided in a public notice available at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The NTA JEE Main exam date 2024 outlines the timetable for key events such as registration, admit card release, IIT JEE 2024 exam, results, and more. The registration process for JEE Main session 2 commenced on February 2, 2024.

Application Process

• Register to generate login credentials.
• Log in to your account and complete the application form.
• Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee.
• Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.

Eligibility

Candidates have the option to decide whether they wish to participate in the second session of the JEE Mains exam, and it is not mandatory to take both sessions. To be eligible for the exam, candidates should either be currently appearing for or have completed their 10+2 level of examination. They must pass the exams with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as subjects, attaining a minimum of 65 percent for SC/ST candidates and 75 percent for all other candidates. There are no age limits for registering for the exam.

Registration fee

To register, candidates need to pay a registration fee, set at ₹1,000 for male candidates and ₹800 for female candidates. For Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL category students, the registration fee is ₹900 for males and ₹800 for females. SC, ST, PWD, and Transgender candidates will need to pay ₹500 as a registration fee.

Duration of JEE Main Exam Date 2024

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two daily shifts, each lasting for 3 hours. However, candidates appearing in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will have a total of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the test.

JEE Main 2024 Admit Card Date

The authorities have released the JEE Main admit card 2024 on the official website. To download the JEE Mains admit card, candidates need to log in to the portal using their application number and date of birth. The JEE Main 2024 hall ticket includes crucial details such as the candidate's personal information, exam date, time, and exam center. It is essential to carry the admit card on the day of the JEE exam 2024.
