The JEE Mains 2024 notice will be released by NTA in December 2023. Candidates should check the JEE Main official website for admission notifications. Candidates must register for the JEE Main 2024 exam online to take the exam. Aspirants who have passed the class 10+2 exam with PCM can take the IIT JEE Main test. Every year, the NTA holds this national-level JEE Main exam. It is an engineering entrance exam held throughout India for engineering candidates. Candidates who pass this test are admitted to top-tier engineering colleges such as IITs, NITs, and CFTIs for B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Arch/ B.Plan.

JEE Main Exam
The NTA administers the JEE Main test for admission to BE/BTech and BArch/BPlan courses at NITs, IITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions/universities funded/recognized by participating state governments. JEE Main 2024 is also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, which is held for admission to IITs. The top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualifiers are eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam. JEE Main 2024 will consist of three papers: Paper 1 for admission to the BE/BTech programme, Paper 2A for admission to the BArch course, and Paper 2B for admission to the BPlan course. The exam will last three hours and will consist of Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will include 90 questions.
Registration Process
- Register on the website (jeemain.nta.nic.in).
- Fill out the JEE Main online application form.
- All relevant documents should be scanned and uploaded.
- Make payment for the application fees.
- Print the acknowledgment page for the JEE Main application form 2024.
Eligibility
- Nationality: Indian citizens are welcome to apply. International applicants are also able to apply, but they must achieve the required AIU JEE main marks.
- Age Requirement: There is no age requirement for students to apply. Students must, however, meet the age requirements of the institution to which they are applying
- Qualifying exam: The fundamental qualification for an appearing applicant is a 12th/equivalent level diploma from a reputable board/university/institution.
- There is no attempt limit when applying for JEE main.
