The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key and Response Sheet on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main January 2026 examination can now check the provisional answer key, question paper, and their recorded responses by logging in with their application number and date of birth/password.

The release of the answer key is a crucial step in the JEE Main examination process, as it allows candidates to verify their answers, estimate their scores, and raise objections in case of discrepancies before the declaration of the final result.
NTA has published the following documents for JEE Main 2026 Session 1:
The answer key has been released separately for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and for all exam shifts conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

3. Upload supporting documents or justification
4. Pay the non-refundable objection fee per question
5. Submit the challenge before the deadline
All objections will be reviewed by subject experts. If a challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly.
After reviewing all challenges, NTA will release the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result. No further objections will be allowed once the final key is published.
The result will include NTA percentile scores, All India Rank (AIR), and eligibility status for JEE Advanced 2026. Candidates should note that percentile scores are calculated based on normalization across shifts.
Candidates are advised to carefully compare their response sheet with the answer key and raise objections, if necessary, within the stipulated time. They should also regularly check the official website for updates related to the final answer key, result date, and counseling process.
The release of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key and Response Sheet ensures transparency in evaluation and gives aspirants clarity about their performance before the final results are announced.
