The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates who have registered for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 can now check and download their city slip using their application number and date of birth/password. The city intimation slip provides advance information about the exam city allotted to candidates, helping them plan travel and accommodation well in advance.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Schedule
As per the official schedule released by NTA, JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be conducted from January 21 to January 31, 2026. The examination will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple centres in India and abroad. The exam will be conducted for the following papers:
- Paper 1: BE/BTech
- Paper 2A: BArch
- Paper 2B: BPlanning
The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts each day depending on the number of candidates appearing for different papers.
What is JEE Main City Intimation Slip?
The JEE Main City Slip 2026 is a preliminary document that informs candidates about the city where their examination centre is located. It does not include the exact exam centre address, reporting time, or shift details. These details will be mentioned in the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card, which will be released separately a few days before the exam.
The city slip helps candidates make logistical arrangements ahead of time and avoid last-minute travel issues.

Candidates can follow these steps to download the exam city slip:
1. Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
2. Click on the link "JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip - Session 1"
3. Enter Application Number and Date of Birth/Password
4. Click on "Submit"
5. The exam city slip will appear on the screen
6. Download and save it for future reference
Important Instructions for Candidates
- The city slip is not a substitute for the admit card
- Candidates must carry a printed admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre
- The exam city once allotted cannot be changed
- Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates regarding admit card release
