Amid the second wave of Covid-19, India is dealing with an alarming situation. Several States Boards including CBSE, UP Board, Maharashtra Board, and others have either cancelled or postponed the Board Exams for Classes 10 and 12. Now the students appearing for JEE Main Exams 2021 for April and May sessions have requested the government to cancel the third session of JEE Main 2021 entrance exam.
The aspirants have urged Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to postpone the upcoming Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Advance 2021 exam keeping in mind the safety of students. The JEE Main 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 18 April 2021 for which the registration concluded on 04 April 2021.
The students are trending #jeemain2021postpone and #postponejee2021 on Twitter in view of the surge in Covid-19 cases. Check out some tweets from students below.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced multiple attempts for students to appear for JEE Main exam this year, which means the students can appear for more than once for the Exam. Around six lakh students are set to appear for the JEE 2021.
Meanwhile, the government has postponed the NEET PG Exam 2021 which was supposed to take place on 18 April 2021 due to the massive surge in Covid-19 cases. The revised date will be announced later.
