The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for JEE aspirants regarding COVID-19 along with the publication of JEE Main 2021 admit card. As per the Indian government guidelines in view of the current situation of the COVID-19 outbreak, the NTA will implement the social distancing measures which are to be followed strictly by the JEE Main 2021 candidates. The JEE Main 2021 exam is scheduled to be held from 23rd February 2021 to 26th February 2021.
The standard operating procedure ensures a safe environment with the required hygiene standards to function examinations properly using touch-free processes wherever needed. The keyboards, mouse, webcam, desk, chairs, and all door handles will be thoroughly sanitised.
As per the government guidelines, the candidates are required to take all the precautionary measures for JEE Main 2021 exam day to ensure their own safety as well as others'.
The candidates should reach the JEE Main 2021 exam centre at least 1 hour before the commencement of the exam. The candidate's body temperature will be monitored by heat guns before entering the main gate. Hand sanitisers along with a three-ply mask will also be provided to the candidates before entry to the exam centre.
The candidates will have to sanitise their hands before signing the attendance sheet. Five A4 size sheets will be kept at each desk for candidates for any rough work.
The candidates will have to drop their admit cards and rough sheet at the exit. The candidates are required to maintain social distance to avoid crowding while leaving the JEE Main 2021 exam gate.
According to the official notification, JEE Main 2021 is scheduled to be conducted in four sessions in February, March, April, and May. NTA has released admit card for JEE Main 2021 on 11th February 2021.
