JEE Main 2016: Answer Keys Released

The answer keys for the JEE Main 2016 examination has been uploaded on the official website of JEE Main. The JEE main 2016 exam was held both online and offline across 2000 centres in India and abroad.

About 12 lakh students have appeared for JEE Main 2016 examinations offline and online. Nearly 3 lakh students took up IIT JEE Main 2016 entrance exam on April 9 and April 10, 2016. And about 10 lakh students took JEE Main 2016 offline on April 3, 2016.

JEE Main exams is conducted by CBSE for admissions into NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutions based on the JEE Main score and Class 12 marks.

How to JEE Main 2016 Answer Keys

The number of students registered for JEE Main 2016 has seen a significant decrease from last year's 13.04 lakh, to this year's 12.07 lakh students.

In a comparison of the number of students taking up the examination shows that Maharashtra has the highest number of test-takers in the country, despite the registrations falling from 2.46 lakh in 2015 to 1.63 lakh this year. Uttar Pradesh stands second with around 1.5 lakh candidates registering for the test.

This is the second year in a row, that JEE (Main) has seen a drop in the numbers of aspirants.
