JEE Main 2014:Engineering counselling for North-Eastern students & UTs

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) is all set to conduct engineering courses counselling for North-Eastern Students and Union Territories (NEUT 2014) through JEE Main 2014 scores.

These seats are separate for North-Eastern students from those being allocated by CSAB-2014. Allotment would be done on the basis of JEE (Main)-2014 rank for Engineering / Architecture courses.

According to the CSAB website, online registration for filling up of the choice would be tentatively conducted from July 22.

Counselling will be held for the engineering courses seats in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and SFTIs.

Online counselling would be held for Andaman Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura students.

Important dates:

• Online registration will commence on July 22.
• Locking of choice would be held from July 25.
• First round seat allotment results would be announced on July 29.
• Reporting to the centers from July 30 to Aug 02.
