Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, has issued important notice to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2014) aspirants.
CBSE has relaxed the eligibility criteria for the students who passed class 12th qualifying examination in 2012 / 2013.
According to the notice, the candidates aspiring for JEE Main 2014 examination are informed that the condition for qualifying examination subjects in class 12th is not applicable to the candidates, with four subjects.
These candidates, if appearing for improvement in all the four subjects in 2014, will be considered eligible for JEE examination.

However, the candidates who are appearing in class 12th qualifying examination in 2014, should have taken at least five subjects, in order to be eligible for taking JEE Main 2014 exam.
According to the earlier notification, candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE Main 2014.
The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE Main 2014 and if such candidates appear in JEE Main 2014 by furnishing wrong information, their rank / result will not be declared.
CBSE is set to conduct JEE Main 2014 examination on 6th April.
