The much- awaited round 5 seat allotment result has been finally declared by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates can check their respective results on the official website.
The JoSAA 2017 counselling process commenced from June 15, 2017, and about 1,50,000 candidates who had cleared JEE advanced exam had filled their choices for JoSAA.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 97 institutes for the academic year 2017-18. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
