Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025:
- Candidates must be among the top 2.5 lakh rank holders in JEE Main 2025.
- Should have passed Class 12 in 2023, 2024, or be appearing in 2025.
- For General category candidates, a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 is required (65% for SC/ST/PwD categories).
- Applicants must not have appeared for JEE Advanced more than twice in consecutive years.
Registration Fee Structure
For Indian Nationals:
- Female Candidates (all categories): ₹1,600
- SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,600
- Other candidates: ₹3,200
For OCI/PIO/Foreign Candidates:
- OCI/PIO (Female & PwD): ₹1,600
- OCI/PIO (General): ₹3,200
- Foreign (SAARC Countries): USD 100
- Foreign (Non-SAARC): USD 200
All payments are to be made online via net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.
How to Register for JEE Advanced 2025
- Log in to the official JEE Advanced portal using JEE Main 2025 credentials.
- Fill in personal and academic details as required.
- Upload documents such as a photograph, signature, and certificates.
- Pay the application fee as per category.
- Download the confirmation page after successful submission.
Note: There is no correction window once the form is submitted, so ensure accuracy before finalizing.
Exam Format
The JEE Advanced exam will have two compulsory papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Each paper will be of 3 hours duration.
The mode of the examination is Computer-Based Test (CBT).
