JEE Advanced 2024 Step-by-Step Guide for Registration, Eligibility Criteria and other details

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, had begun accepting registrations for JEE Advanced 2024 on April 27, 2024. Aspiring applicants can start the registration procedure by going to the official JEE Advanced website, jeeadv.ac.in. Registration opened at 5 p.m.

A total of 250,284 students will take the JEE (Advanced) 2024 exam.

Proceed to the registration page and provide the required information.

After successfully registering, log in to your account.

Fill out the form and pay the application cost.

Submit the application and keep the downloaded copy for future reference.

Maintain a paper copy of the application form as needed.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must have been born on or after October 1, 1999. SC, ST, and PwD applicants, on the other hand, are eligible due to a five-year age relaxation, allowing them to be born on or after October 1, 1994.

Application Fees

The registration price for female, SC, ST, and PwD applicants is ₹1600, while other Indian candidates must pay ₹3200. Payment for the charge should be made online.

The application submission deadline is May 7, 2024, and enrolled candidates must pay their fees by May 10, 2024.

JEE Advanced is the second stage test (after JEE Main) for aspiring IIT students. Remember that only the top 2.5 lakh successful students in JEE Main are eligible to take JEE Advanced. It's your gateway to the elite IITs. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) oversees the yearly CBT exam, which is administered by one of the seven IITs or IISc Bangalore.

JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form (Out)

Only applicants who rank among the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main 2024 are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. The application process is conducted online, and the form is only available on the official website.

As the first step, each student must register on the official website by entering their JEE Main 2024 roll number, password, and security pin.

The second phase requires candidates to provide different personal information such as their name, parents' names, communication details, address details, and so on in the designated columns of the JEE Advanced 2024 application form.

The information provided in the application form must be correct, as inaccurate information may result in the cancellation of candidature at a later stage.

When filling out the application form, students must additionally specify their preferred exam centers.

In addition to the details, students must attach scanned images of the required papers.

After providing all of the details, students must print several copies of the final application form for future obligations.
