The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced 2024) exam cities for this year have been announced by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras). The institute has declared that it will hold the entrance exam at three additional exam locations overseas in addition to the 229 exam centres in India. These exam centres include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu.

Through the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, eligible applicants who qualified for JEE Main 2024 and placed in the top 2.5 lakhs may submit an application for JEE Advanced 2024. Candidates have till May 7 to turn in their registration forms, which the IIT Madras opened on April 27. It should be mentioned that during the application process, candidates will be required to select their top eight exam cities. There will be an option to change the centre and country selections for those who have already chosen and paid for centres in India. Furthermore, students need to be aware that there are differences in the registration fees for exam centres located in India and those located abroad.
Aside from the JEE Mains 2024 rank, candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1999. Candidates who fall into the SC, ST, or PWD categories are eligible for an age relaxation of five years.
The application fee for applicants other than female, SC, ST, and PwD is ₹3,200, according to the JEE Advanced 2024 notice. A fee of ₹1600 must be paid by female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates of all categories before the deadline for fee payment, which is May 10, 2024 at 5 p.m.
The system will display a number of payment gateway options, including Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, and e-Challan, once the candidate hits "Pay Registration Fee." The candidates are free to use any payment gateway that works best for them. The candidate is recommended to print the "Registration Acknowledgment" with the UNIQUE Registration number upon successful payment.
On May 26, 2024, there will be two papers for the examination. First paper will begin at 9 a.m. and go until 12 p.m.; second paper will start at 2.30 p.m. and will conclude at 5.30 pm
