The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced dates have been rescheduled by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. The JEE Advanced 2022 exam, which was earlier set to take place on July 3, will now be held on August 28. According to the new JEE Advanced 2022 dates, registration for the entrance examination will begin on August 7 and end on August 11. Candidates can check information such as application dates, eligibility, and the timetable on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced is a test for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and other institutions.

Meanwhile, the JEE Advanced will be of two papers, that is, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Paper 2 from 02:30 p.m. to 05:30 p.m.

The registration process will begin on August 7, 2022, and the fee payment deadline will be August 11, 2022. The admit card will be available for download from August 23 to August 28, 2022. On September 3, 2022, the tentative answer key will be released, and on September 11, 2022, the final answer key will be announced online. The result of JEE Advanced 2022 will be announced on September 11, 2022.

JEE Advanced 2022: Eligibility

Candidates should rank among the top 2,50,000 in the JEE (Main) 2022 B.E./B.Tech. course (all categories combined). The percentage of candidates shortlisted in each category are as follows: 10% is reserved for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5 percent for ST, while the remaining 40.5 percent is OPEN to all. PwD applicants are eligible for a 5% horizontal reserve in each of these five industries.
