Free counselling sessions will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) for students, who have appeared fo JEE Advanced 2016.
The counselling is scheduled to be held on June 5 and June 18, 2016, will be done through IITGN's JEE Open House sessions.
Students, who have qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) are usually have various options in engineering branches in different IITs. It would be difficult to make a best choice out of the multiple combinations, which often leaves students and parents in confusion.
The counselling aims to address both students and parents concerns. Students, who are interested to take part in the session can register at the official website or contact 0998372731 or 09714166524.
According to Indian Express, IIT Gandhinagar faculty members, Dean of Student Affairs and Academic Affairs and the institute's Director will take part in the interactive session.
The beginning of choice filling is scheduled to begin on June 20. A campus tour will also be organised for the participants of the sessions
This year, the IITGN is organising JEE Open House before the declaration of results.
