Jammu University Introduces a 4-year UG Program, "Design Your Degree"

A four-year undergraduate "Design Your Degree" curriculum has been introduced by the University of Jammu on Thursday and will commence this Academic Year. Vice Chancellor Professor Umesh Rai predicted that the program would "transform higher education and revolutionize the way students pursue their academic aspirations."

Additionally, he stated that the degree seeks to produce graduates who are not just specialists in their subjects but also have a "holistic understanding of the world, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to society." According to the VC, students will have the chance to design a unique, multidisciplinary learning experience through the program.

The "Design Your Degree" program, according to Prof. Umesh Rai, VCJU, fosters a dynamic learning environment that equips students to be tomorrow's leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers in perfect alignment with the institution's core principles.
