Jamia Millia Islamia To Conduct Current Semester Exams Through Online Open Book Mode

The Central University has announced that Jamia Millia Islamia would conduct online open-book examinations for the current semester in the next few days. Mock examinations will also be conducted by the university in the current even semester to give students an orientation for open book examinations.

The university said that a one-hour mock examination is mandatory for every student and they will be allowed to take the actual examination only after successfully completing the examination.

" A dedicated help desk number and an email-id has been created by the Office of the Controller of Examination for resolving the questions of the students during the online mock examination which will be operational every day of the examination from 10 am to 7 pm till the examinations are over," stated the Central University.

The students will be given four hours for the exam, which includes one hour for uploading answer sheets, while differently-abled students will be given six hours and can also upload typed answer sheets in PDF format.

The All India Students' Association (AISA) has been seeking cancellation of exams due to the current pandemic situation, students facing logistical issues as some of them are becoming infected in their families.
