Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the admission schedule for its school section for the academic year 2026-27, with registrations for Nursery, Preparatory and Class I set to open soon. Parents and guardians seeking early-education placements at Jamia's schools can apply online starting January 7, 2026.

Admissions for these entry-level classes will be conducted at Mushir Fatma Nursery School and Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School (Self-Financed).

Other School Admissions at JMI
Jamia Millia Islamia is also conducting admissions for higher classes in phased schedules later this year:

• Class VI and Class IX: Registration from February 5 to March 5, 2026.
• Class XI (Science, Arts & Commerce): Registration from February 20 to March 20, 2026.

These admissions will be held across Jamia Senior Secondary School, Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School (Self-Financed), and Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School (Self-Financed).

In addition, Balak Mata Centres will hold a separate admission process. Application forms will be available from March 5 to April 20, 2026, and must be submitted in hard copy at designated locations in Matia Mahal, Qassabpura and Beriwala Bagh. The fee for Balak Mata Centre applications is ₹50.
