JAC Delhi 2026 Round 1 Verification: Mandatory Steps to Secure Your Engineering Seat

The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi begins Round-1 physical verification today, June 18. Candidates from the OBC-Delhi category with a Common Rank List (CRL) above 80,000 must report. They should visit their allotted institute between 10 am and 3 pm. This step is vital to secure your seat. Ensure you have paid the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) first. Failure to report results in seat cancellation.

The SAF portal remains active for payment today. However, it closes at 2 pm on the final reporting day. You must generate the fee receipt after paying online. Take this receipt to the verification venue for official proof. The verification happens only at the college where you got a seat. This process confirms your eligibility for engineering admission.

JAC Delhi 2026: Mandatory Verification Steps

Mandatory Documents for JAC Delhi Physical Verification

Carry the JEE Main admit card and your scorecard. You also need the Class 12 marksheet and a photo ID. Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates must bring a valid certificate. It must be issued after March 31, 2024, to be eligible. The document must mention the state and category status clearly. Incorrect formats lead to category conversion.

Understanding JAC Delhi Freeze and Withdraw Rules

After verification, you can choose to freeze your seat. This means you are happy and do not want a better option. If you want a higher preference, do not click freeze. Your seat will automatically upgrade in the next round. You must stay aware of the withdrawal window. Withdrawing later might lead to heavy fee deductions.
