- Head Constable (Telecom): Applicants should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or possess a 10th-grade education with relevant ITI certifications or diplomas in Electronics, Communication, or Electrical.
- Constable (Telecom): A matriculation certificate (10th grade) is the minimum requirement. Candidates with ITI certificates or diplomas in technical fields will have an advantage.

- The pay scale for Sub-Inspector is Level 6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400) under the 7th Pay Commission.
Head Constable (Telecom):
- The salary for Head Constable is Level 4 (₹25,500 - ₹81,100) under the 7th Pay Commission.
Constable (Telecom):
- The pay scale for Constable is Level 3 (₹21,700 - ₹69,100) under the 7th Pay Commission.
Additionally, candidates are entitled to allowances as per government rules, including house rent allowance, medical facilities, and other benefits.
