ISRO YUVIKA 2022: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to conduct the ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2022 or ISRO YUva VIgyani KAryakram i.e. ISRO YUVIKA 2022 between May 16-28, 2022 for a period of two weeks. The online registration process for the ISRO Young Scientist Program 2022 ends on April 10, 2022 at 4:00 pm. ISRO YUVIKA 2020 provisional selection list was released on March 10, 2020. ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2022

The ISRO YUVIKA 2022 programme aims to impart the basic knowledge of Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger ones. The programme creates awareness amongst the youngsters who are the future building blocks of the country.

ISRO Young Scientist Program 2022 will be conducted for a period of two weeks during summer breaks (May 16-28, 2022) and will include invited talks, experience sharing by the eminent scientists, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions.

ISRO has chalked out the YUVIKA programme aimed at students to "Catch them young" and to encourage more students to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based research /career.

The ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2022 aims to select 150 students across the country, who are studying in class IX (Class 9) as on March 01, 2022 in a school located within the territory of India with minimum participation ensured from each State/UT.

ISRO Young Scientist Programme Eligibility

Students who have finished 8th standard (marks obtained in Class 'VIII' examination) and currently studying in 9th standard as on March 01, 2022 will be eligible for the programme with a special weightage to students studying in schools located in panchayat area.

ISRO YUVIKA 2022 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be done through online registration between March 10 and to April 10, 2022. The shortlisting will be based on the 8th Standard academic performance and extracurricular activities - Participation in science fair; Prize in Olympiad, Science competitions and equivalent; Winner of sports competitions conducted by School / Govt./Institutions/Registered Sports federation; Member of Scout and guides/NCC/NSS in last three years; Performance in online quiz, etc.

• Find the registration link of ISRO YUVIKA 2022 Programme on the homepage
• Appear in the online quiz within 48 hours of e-mail registration for YUVIKA - 2022
• Login to YUVIKA portal minimum after 60 minutes from quiz submission and fill all the information correctly.
• Submit the online application form and download the submitted form
• Upload the signed copy and all the required certificates before the last date of registration
