ISRO Recruitment For Scientists/Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Ref & Air-conditioning & Architecture)

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), India's premier space agency with the Govt. of India, has invited applications from Indian nationals for recruiting 18 Scientists and Engineers under various disciplines - Civil, Electrical Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Architecture at its end by 15 January 2019.

Interested candidates seeking application for the post of Scientist/Engineer with the space agency must have completed their academic course in the aforementioned disciplines with an aggregate of 65% marks and must not have exceeded the 35 years in age as on 15 January 2019 (40-years for SC/ST; 38-years for OBC candidates).

Candidates are required to apply for the specific discipline under the specified codes provided for each position by paying a specified application fee of Rs. 100/- through both online (netbanking, credit/debit) or offline (SBI Challan) payment gateways as detailed in the notification by 16 January 2019. SC/ST/Women/Ex-servicemen and PWBD are exempted from paying the fees.

Educational Credentials

• Scientist/Engineer (Civil) - Candidates applying for this post must have a BE/B.Tech degree or an equivalent certificate in Civil Engineering with an aggregate of 65% marks (First Class).
• Scientist/Engineer (Electrical) - Candidates applying for this post must have a BE/B.Tech degree or an equivalent certificate in Electrical Engineering or in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an aggregate of 65% marks (First Class).
• Scientist/Engineer (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) - Candidates applying for this post must have a BE/B.Tech degree or an equivalent certificate in Mechanical Engineering and must have Air Conditioning & Refrigeration either as an elective or as a primary subject in any one of the semesters with an aggregate of 65% marks (First Class).
• Scientist/Engineer (Architecture) - Candidates applying for this post must have a degree in Architecture with an aggregate of 65% marks and must have secured a certificate from the Council of Architecture (CA).
• Scientist/Engineer (Civil) for Laboratory in Chandigarh - Candidates applying for this post must have a BE/B.Tech degree or an equivalent certificate in Civil Engineering with an aggregate of 65% marks (First Class).

Selection Process And Pay

The selection of candidates will be based on a written test to be held on 10 March 2019 followed by an interview after the screening of online applications and short-listing of candidates for the written examination.

Candidates selected as Scientist/Engineer will be paid in Level 10 scale with Rs. 56,100/- per month as basic pay along with HRA/TA as specified.
