ISRO Launches YUVIKA 2025: Eligibility, Benefits, Application Process and more

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is once again opening its doors to the bright young minds of India with YUVIKA 2025, the Young Scientist Programme. This initiative is designed to provide Class 9 students with a deep dive into the world of space science, technology, and its applications. What is YUVIKA 2025?

YUVIKA (Yuva Vigyani Karyakram) is a two-week residential program hosted by ISRO at seven different centers across India. Scheduled to run from May 19, 2025, to May 30, 2025, this program will expose students to the latest advancements in space technology, satellite applications, and space exploration. Participants will visit ISRO facilities, interact with top scientists, and engage in hands-on experiments, making this an experience like no other.

Eligibility Criteria

• Have involvement in science fairs, Olympiads, sports, or community programs like NCC, NSS, or Scouts & Guides.
• Preference is given to students from rural areas.

• Deadline to Apply: March 23, 2025
• Selection List Announcement: April 7, 2025
• Reporting at ISRO Centers: May 18, 2025
