ISI Admission 2019: Entrance Exam To Be Conducted On May 12

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), a unique institution devoted to the research, teaching and application of statistics, natural sciences and social sciences, has released the exam schedule for 2019. The ISI institute will be conducting the entrance exam on May 12, 2019. The registrations for the exam will take place between February 5 and March 12.

The entrance exam is conducted for admission to a range of academic courses such as B.Stat (Hons.), B.Math (Hons.), M.Stat, M.Math, MS (QE), MS (QMS), MS (LIS), M.Tech (CS), M.Tech (CrS) and M.Tech (QROR) besides PG Diploma. The admission is carried for ISI campuses in Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Tezpur.

Online Application Starts: February 5, 2019
Online Application Ends: March 12, 2019
Payment of Application Fee Starts: February 7, 2019
Payment of Application Fee Ends: March 19, 2019
Issue of Admit Card Starts: April 09, 2019

Candidates should have a relevant bachelors degree to apply for the ISI entrance exam. For admission to all the masters' courses, bachelors degree in mathematics or statistics is the primary prerequisite. The ISI admission 2019 consists of both multiple choice questions and descriptive type. The total duration of the exam will be four hours.

Interested candidates have to pay the prescribed application fee of INR 1000. However, INR 500 is the application fee for the reserved category candidates. One can apply for the ISI admission 2019 from February 5, 2019.
