ISC 2014 Class 12th results highlights


The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), had declared the Class 12th board examination 2014 results on 17th May 2014.

Karnataka state has the highest pass percentage of 98.38.

ISC 2014 results highlights:

  • A total 95.27% of students passed the examination.
  • The number of schools that presented candidates in India & Abroad for the ISC examination is 871.
  • The total number of candidates who appeared for the ISC Examination is 68,723.
  • Number of boys who appeared for the ISC Examination is 37,558 and 31,165 are girls.
  • Number of boys who passed in ISC is 35,367 and 30,100 are girls.
  • The pass percentage obtained in the major subjects in the ISC exam was English 95.60%; Hindi 93.48%; Economics 91.72%; Commerce 91.42%; Accounts 91.45%; Mathematics 97.57%; Physics 98.60%; Chemistry 98.66% ; Biology 98.62%; Computer Science 97.87%; Bengali 95.61%.
  • For ISC in India, the Southern Region has the best pass percentage i.e. 98.32%, followed by Western Region (95.74%), Northern Region (95.01%) and Eastern Region (94.91%). Abroad, ISC has achieved pass percentage of 98.51% .

The ISC examination mark sheets and pass certificates will reach the schools latest by 22nd May 2014.
