IP University CET Registration 2026 Extended: New Deadline, How to Apply and Key Details

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has extended the registration deadline for IP University CET 2026 and other admission modes for the academic session 2026-27.
As per the latest official update, candidates can now complete their online applications till April 11, 2026, instead of the earlier deadline of March 31.

The extension applies to admissions through Common Entrance Tests (CET), national-level tests, and merit-based programmes offered by the university and its affiliated colleges.

The extension has been granted following requests from candidates seeking additional time to complete the application process.

Courses Covered Under IPU CET 2026

IP University conducts CET for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including:

  • BBA, BCA, BJMC
  • B.Com (Hons), B.Sc courses
  • MA, M.Sc and other PG programmes
  • Select professional and technical courses

For some programmes, admissions are also conducted through national-level entrance exams such as CUET, NEET, or JEE Main.

How to Apply Online

Candidates can follow these steps to complete their registration:

  • Visit the official IP University admission portal (ipu.ac.in / ipu.admissions.nic.in)
  • Click on the registration link for Admission 2026
  • Create an account using email ID and mobile number
  • Log in with generated credentials
  • Fill in personal, academic, and course details
  • Upload required documents
  • Pay the application fee online
  • Submit the form and download confirmation

Applicants are advised to verify all details before submission.

Exam and Admission Process

  • IPU CET 2026 exams are scheduled to be held between April 25 and May 17, 2026
  • Counselling is expected to begin from June 2026 onwards

Selection will be based on CET scores, national-level test scores, or qualifying merit, depending on the programme.

Candidates who have not yet applied should utilise the extended window to complete their applications before April 11, 2026. No further extension has been announced at this stage.
