IOCL Recruitment 2019 For Junior Engineering Assistants In Multiple Trades; Apply Before 06 March

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Govt. of India-owned Oil and Gas company, has invited applications in offline mode from Ex-apprentices of Paradip Refinery for filling vacancies to the post of Junior Engineering Assistants-IV on a regular basis at IOCL's Paradip Refinery unit in Odisha. Applications in prescribed format must be submitted on or before 06 March 2019. Interested candidates can start applying from 20 February 2019.

The recruitment is for the disciplines/trades comprising Production, P&U-O&M Mechanical and Instrumentation.

Age Criteria And Fees

Interested candidates applying for the post of Junior Engineering Assistants-IV through IOCL Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on 28 February 2019 and not be more than 26 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit by 5 for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates are not required/exempted from paying application fee as specified in the notification given at the end of the article.

Educational Criteria And Pay Scale

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Engineering Assistants Grade IV through IOCL Recruitment 2019 under multiple trades/disciplines must possess qualifications as under:

Junior Engineering Assistant IV (Production): Candidates applying for this position must possess a 3-year Diploma in Chemical/Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering or B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognised University/ Institute with at least 50% marks (aggregate) for General, EWS and OBC candidates, and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Junior Engineering Assistant IV (P&U-O&M): Candidates applying for this post must possess a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute with at least 50% marks (aggregate) for General, EWS/OBC/SC/ST candidates.

Junior Engineering Assistant IV (Mechanical): Candidates applying for this post must possess a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University/Institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate for General/EWS/ OBC/SC/ST candidates, or must have passed Matric/SSC with ITI in Fitter Trade (Pass class).

Junior Engineering Assistant IV (Instrumentation): Candidates applying for this post must possess 3 year Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Instrumentation & Electronics from a recognised Institute/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate for General/EWS/ OBC/SC/ST candidates.

Candidates selected to the above posts will be paid under Grade - IV in the Scale of Rs.11,900/- to Rs. 32,000/- per month.

Selection

The selection/recruitment of candidates as Junior Engineering Assistants-IV (JEA-IV) in multiple trades through IOCL Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the candidate's performance in the Written Test to be held on 10 March 2019 (tentative) followed by Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT), as applicable to be held on 14 March 2019 (tentative) only for those candidates who qualify the Written Test, the result of which will be declared on 13 March 2019 (tentative).
