Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited the applications for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineering Assistant (JEA) IV. There are a total of 45 vacancies available for the recruitment process. The last date to apply for the post is October 31, 2017.

Educational Qualification

The candidates are required to have a Diploma Chemical/Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering Or BSc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) can apply for the post.

Experience

The candidates must have a minimum education qualification in Matric plus Sub-Officer;s course from NFSC Nagpur from a recognized institute along with a Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

The candidates are supposed to apply for only one discipline. If the candidates apply for more than one discipline then all the applications will be rejected.

For Female Candidates-

The notification from IOCL specially mentioned, 'Women candidates will not be considered for vacancies in Production and also against the cadres/work areas that require shift operations, 365 days in a year or necessitates undertaking work beyond 07:00 PM (& up to 06:00 AM), like Fire & Safety normally performed in shifts.'

The company stated that no woman will be allowed to work or enter the premises in which generation of gas from the dangerous petroleum as defined in the Petroleum Act 1924 is carried. They will not be allowed in LPG storage and the handling area either.
