The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division, Western Region has invited online applications for 335 Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentice positions under Advertisement No. IOCL/MKTG/WR/APPR/2026-27. The application process has started on October 5, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until November 4, 2026, at 5 pm.

The recruitment covers apprenticeship opportunities in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu.
The apprenticeship training will be for 12 months. Candidates should note that this is an apprenticeship engagement and does not create an automatic right to regular employment with IOCL after completion of training.
The recruitment includes opportunities across Technician Apprentice, Trade Apprentice, Graduate Apprentice and Data Entry Operator categories. The notified vacancies are:

The notified locations are within the IOCL Western Region and include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu. Candidates must apply only against the state and opportunity listed under the Western Region notification.
The educational qualification depends on the apprenticeship discipline. For Technician Apprentice positions, candidates need a three-year regular full-time diploma in the relevant engineering discipline, with 50% marks for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates for reserved positions.
For Trade Apprentice posts, applicants must have passed matriculation and completed the relevant two-year full-time ITI course recognised by NCVT or SCVT.
Candidates applying for Graduate Apprentice positions require a regular full-time BA, B.Com, B.Sc or BBA degree with the prescribed marks. The minimum is 50% for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates for reserved positions.
For Data Entry Operator Apprentice posts, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks, with the prescribed relaxation for eligible reserved categories. The skill-certificate category additionally requires a recognised Domestic Data Entry Operator skill certificate.
The qualification must generally have been acquired through regular full-time study. The notification also specifies qualifying-date windows for different categories of applicants.
Candidates must be aged 18 to 24 years as on September 30, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable according to category and the conditions mentioned in the notification. SC/ST candidates receive the prescribed five-year relaxation, while OBC-NCL candidates receive three years. Additional relaxation provisions apply to PwBD candidates.
There will be no written examination or interview for selection. Candidates must first register successfully on the relevant NAPS or NATS portal and apply against the notified IOCL opportunity.
A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying examination. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for document verification and pre-engagement medical examination. Candidates found suitable after verification and medical assessment will receive the offer of apprenticeship engagement.
Candidates must apply through the apprenticeship portal corresponding to their qualification. ITI and Data Entry Operator applicants should register through NAPS, while Diploma and Graduate candidates should use NATS.
