IOCL Trade Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:
The age limit as per the IOCL is 18 to 24 years as on the date of filling the application form.

Educational Qualification:

Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator: Candidates should have completed 3 years B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry)
Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Candidate should have completed Matric with 2 (two) years ITI (Fitter) course
Trade Apprentice (Boiler): Candidates should have completed 3 years B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry)
Technician Apprentice Chemical: Candidates should have completed a 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engg. / Refinery & Petro-Chemical Engg.
Technician Apprentice - Mechanical: Candidates should have completed a 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg.

Technician Apprentice Mechanical: Candidates should have completed a 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg.
Technician Apprentice Electrical: Candidates should have completed a 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engg.
Technician Apprentice Instrumentation: Candidates should have completed a 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engg.
Trade Apprentice- Secretarial Assistant: Candidates should have completed 3 years B.A./B.Sc/B.Com.
Trade Apprentice- Accountant: Candidates should have completed a 3 years B.Com course.

IOCL Trade Apprentice Selection Process

The final selection of the candidate in the IOCL Trade Apprentice exam is going to be based on the basis of their performance in the written exam. The unreserved candidate is required to secure at least 40% marks whereas those who belong to reserved category need to secure 35% marks.
