The International Conference on Emerging Approaches in Business Management (ICEABM'24), themed "Strategic Fusion: Aligning Business Management with UN - SDGs 3 - Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 9 - Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure," was jointly organized by the Faculty of Management, SRMIST, Vadapalani, Chennai, India, and the University of Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman.

Eminent Chief Guests including Dr. C. Rangarajan, Chairman of Madras School of Economics, Former Member of Parliament & RBI Governor, and Dr. Paul R. Chiarot, Professor of Binghamton University, graced the inaugural session on March 13, 2024, at 9.00 am (Wednesday), symbolizing enlightenment and knowledge-sharing.
The diverse audience, comprising scholars, researchers, students, and practitioners worldwide, gathered to exchange knowledge and experiences. Dr. M.N. Prabadevi, MBA - Program Coordinator, FoM, SRMIST, extended a warm welcome, while Prof. Dr. V. Sasirekha, Dean - FoM, SRMIST, elucidated the interconnectedness between the conference theme and SDG goals 3 and 9. Dr. B. Jayaprabha, the Conference Coordinator, provided insights into the conference.

Dr. S. Ramachandran, Director - Academics, SRMIST, emphasized the importance of SDG goals and felicitated the chief guests. Dr. C. Rangarajan discussed India's growth trajectory over the decades, emphasizing the need for focus on SDGs from educational institutions and organizations.
Dr. Paul R. Chiarot addressed sustainability challenges, urging India to prioritize sustainable development for a resilient future. Dr. Salem Al Abri, Dean - College of Economics, Management & Information Systems, University of Nizwa, Oman, presented the keynote address, emphasizing unlocking business growth through sustainability within the SDG framework.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. V. Suganya, Coordinator, ICEABM 2024.
