INI CET 2023 Admit Card to come on November 7, 2022: How to download & all the details about Exam

All the doctors looking to pursue a postgraduate medical degree through INI CET 2023, watch out!

AIIMS, New Delhi is going to release the Admit Card for INI CET 2023 Exam on 7th November 2022 - 6 days before the date of the exam which is 13th of November 2022. Applicants who are eligible to take this national-level test must visit the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in to download their Admit Card. How to download the INI CET 2023 Admit Card

INI CET Exams are conducted by AIIMS New Delhi twice a year (January and July) for granting medical graduates (MBBS or equivalent) admission into postgraduate medical courses across premier medical institutions of the country. There are a total of 1308 medical PG seats up for grabs across courses such MD, MS, DM, M.Ch, and MDS for applicants this time round.

The computer-based test will be held across various test centres of the country in a single sitting. To those curious, INI CET stands for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test

Application Fee:

For Gen/OBC Applicants: Rs. 4,000
For SC/ST Applicants: Rs. 3,200

Age Limit:

Unlike most of the entrance exams in the country - including the medical ones - there is no limit on either age or number of attempts.
Any Indian Nationals, OCI/NRI, and even Foreign Nationals can apply for admission through INI CET.

Eligibility Criteria:

MBBS/BDS degree from a recognised institute; + 12-month internship certificate

Exam Pattern:

Exam duration: 3 hours
Total marks: 200 questions of 1 mark each; meaning 200 marks
Marking scheme: +1 mark for a correct response, -1/3 mark for an incorrect response

Selection Process

Minimum marks to clear the INI CET Exam

For GEN/OBC/GEN PwD Applicants: 55%
For SC/ST/SC-PwD/ST-PwD Applicants: 50%

Finally, a Merit List is prepared based on your marks obtained in the Exam. Counselling takes place to allot colleges to qualified candidates. The higher your rank on the Merit List, the more the chances of you getting into a college of your choice.

How to apply for INI CET Exams

Though the dates are already over to apply for INI CET 2023 January Exam, you can use this knowledge to apply for future editions of this medical entrance test.

Overall, it's a 2-stage process to apply: Basic Registration & Final Registration

Basic Registration

It's the initial stage. Applicants have to register themselves on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi through a valid email ID, Mobile Number, and a few Personal Details.
After the basic registration, candidates will have to fill out a part of the INI CET Application Form.

Final Registration

Be very mindful that Basic Registration can be accepted or rejected by the authorities on various grounds of eligibility.
Final Registration is exclusive to those whose applications have been accepted.
Once your Application is accepted, you have to generate a EUC - Examination Unique Code.
After EUC, you can fill in and submit the final part of the Application Form along with the Fee.

Find and Click on the Admit Card link for the INI CET 2023 Exam
Log in by submitting your credentials such as Registration ID, EUC, Password and Captcha
Once logged in, you see your INI CET 2023 Hall Ticket on the screen
Download, and take a printout of the same for gaining entry into the test centre.
