Online Learning: Infosys’ Wingspan Launches ‘Summer Of Ideas’ For University Students

India's multinational corporation, Infosys, has launched the 'Summer of Ideas' initiative to redefine the learning experience for university students. The online learning initiative is available for all students across the world. This global eight-week ideathon will help the global student and academic community overcome the loss of learning opportunities as a result of the disruption caused by COVID-19.

Summer of Ideas initiative will allow students access to Infosys mentorship and specially curated learning materials virtually. As per the official sources, the program will induct nearly 2000 participants, divided into teams of five that will shape their ideas based on 10 themes related to emerging technologies. The ideas of students will be refined by Infosys mentors and renowned professors.

Wingspan, Infosys' next-generation digital learning platform, will provide a unique online learning experience for thousands of students with Summer of Ideas. The initiative also provides a platform for students to network with each other, collaborate with teams and share ideas with the help of various digital tools.
