It is very difficult for a person belonging to the LGBTQI community (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex) to command an equal status in the society because of the widespread discrimination they face. Unfortunately, the negativity present in the society permeates when it comes to seeking employment as well. In order to provide an opportunity to the LGBTQI talent pool, Pride Circle has come forward with a concept of organising RISE: Reimagining Inclusion for Social Equity.
Pride Circle is hosting a job fair specifically for LGBTQI people. This will provide a platform to interact with the working individuals from multinational companies (MNCs) to Indian corporations, across the country.
The Garden City of India, Bengaluru, will host India's first LGBTQI job fair - Reimagining Inclusion for Social Equity (RISE) at hotel The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru on July 12, 2019. This fair covers both blue and white-collar jobs.
Candidates can witness more than 35 inclusive companies and over 100 job openings. Interested candidates can upload their resume onlin on (https://resume.thepridecircle.com/) and find LGBTI employers across the country. One can register online for the job fair on https://thepridecircle.com/.
