Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2019: Apply Online Before May 19

The Indian Navy has released a notification and invites online applications from unmarried male candidates for enrolment as a sailor for matric recruit (musician) -02/2019 batch. Aspirants have to note a widower or a person who has divorced his wife shall not be treated as an unmarried male. Interested candidates can apply online for the post between May 6 and 19, 2019. The selection of the candidates will be based on the screening test and medical test. The selected candidate can earn up to Rs 69,100 per month besides DA as applicable.

Age Limit

Candidates should be born between October 1, 1994, and September 30, 2002 (both dates inclusive) are eligible. There is no age relaxation for reserved categories.

Selection Process

Candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria set by the Indian Navy and submit the online application forms successfully will get the call letter for the preliminary screening test. One who qualifies in the preliminary will have to undergo the final screening, which will be held at INS Kunjali, Colaba, Mumbai. It is followed by medical examination.

Examination Centres

The examination will take place only in Mumbai, Kochi and Visakhapatnam. Candidates have to choose only one exam centre.

Interested candidates are required to apply online through the official website - www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. The online applications will be available between May 6 and 19, 2019.
