Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2017: Apply Before October 15!

Indian Navy has released an official employment notification calling out for eligible candidates to apply for Sailor posts.

Sailors for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)- February 2018 Batch.

Eligibility

Applications must be

• unmarried male
• From North Eastern States (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Sikkim)

Educational qualification

'Candidates should have qualified 10+2/ equivalent exam with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects; optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Computers. Candidates should have been born between 01 Feb 1997 to 31 Jan 2001 (Both dates inclusive).

Candidates can apply at joinindiannavy.gov.in.

Selection process

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, physical fitness and medical examination.
• The written test (objective type) will be of one hour and will comprise of questions from English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
• The physical fitness test will comprise of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups.

Deadline

The last date for candidates to apply for the post is 15 October 2017.

Documents required

Candidates shall have to take original and one self-attested copy of Matriculation certificate, 10+2 mark sheet and certificate, NCC certificates, Domicile certificates and ten colour passport photographs.
