The Indian Navy has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for recruiting 172 Chargeman (Mechanic/Ammunition and Explosive sections) Group B through direct selection to be posted at various Depots, Ordnance Factories/DRDO labs/Quasi Military Establishments units of the Naval Armament Inspectorate (NAI). The online registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from May 13, 2019 and closes on May 26, 2019 by 11:00 pm

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for the post Chargeman through Indian Navy Recruitment must not be more than 30 years of age (Gen/UR) as on May 26, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 33 years for OBC categories and 35 years for SC/ST candidates as detailed in the notification.
Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 205 (Gen/OBC) as examination fee fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit/UPI etc payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman and Women candidates are exempted from paying the exam fee.

Educational Criteria
Candidates applying for the post of Chargeman through Indian Navy Recruitment must possess the following qualifications:
Chargeman (Mechanic): Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics//Production Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with at least two-years of experience in QC/QA in the area of production/design/maintenance of engineering equipment from a recognized organization.
Chargeman (Ammunition and Explosive): Diploma in Chemical engineering from a recognized University/Institution with at least two-years of experience in QC/QA proof/testing in the area of chemical engineering/processing from a recognized organization.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates as Chargeman through Indian Navy Recruitment will be done through Screening, Written Examination and Interview a specified in the notification.
Candidates selected as Chargeman will be paid a remuneration under Level 6 in the scale of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month
