Eligibility Criteria for SSR Medical Assistant

Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects, achieving at least 50% aggregate marks and 40% marks in each individual subject.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be born between 1 November 2003 and 30 April 2007.

Selection Process for Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant

The selection process consists of two phases:

Shortlisting Based on 12th Marks: Initially, candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from their 12th-grade board exams.
Written Examination & Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a written test followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT). The final merit list will be based on the scores from the written exam.
Candidates who successfully clear the PFT, Physical Standard Test (PST), and medical examinations will be included in the final selection list.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidates will undergo training, during which they will receive a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month. After successfully completing the training, they will be placed at Level-3 of the Defence Pay Matrix, with a salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. In addition, they will receive a Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs 5,200 and Dearness Allowance (DA), offering a comprehensive compensation package.
