The Indian Navy has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling 2,700 Sailors post in capacity as Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) through direct recruitment for engaging in the August 2020 Batch. The application process towards the same starts from November 8, 2019 and closes on November 18, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees
Desirous candidates applying for Sailors post through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 must be born between August 01, 2000 to July, 31 2003 as specified in the notification.
Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 215 (Gen/OBC) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc, payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility
Desirous candidates applying for Sailors post through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 must posses the following qualifications:
- Sailor (AA): Passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks (aggregate) with Maths and Physics, and at least one of these subjects - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
- Sailor (SSR): Passed 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates for Sailors post through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Computer-based Examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and and Medical Examinations.
Candidates selected for Sailors post through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month.
