Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 2700 Sailor Posts; Earn Up To INR 69,100 A Month

The Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried Indian nationals (male) for filling 2,700 vacancies to the post of Sailor in capacity as Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) through direct recruitment. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from June 28, 2019 and closes on July 10, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Sailors through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 should be born between February 01, 2000 to January, 31 2003 as specified in the notification, with relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as applicable.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 205 (Gen/OBC) as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the exam fee.

Educational Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Sailors through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 must possess the following qualifications:

Sailor (AA): Must have passed 10+2/HSC or equivalent with minimum 60% marks (aggregate) with Maths and Physics, and at least one of these subjects - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Sailor (SSR): Must have passed 10+2/HSC or equivalent with Maths and Physics, and at least one of these subjects - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Sailors through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examinations as specified in the notification.

Candidates selected as Sailors will be paid an emolument under Level 3 of the Defence Matrix in the scale of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month
