Indian institute collaborates with University of Memphis

Nrupur Institute of Nursing Science and Research (NINSR) in India signs a collaboration agreement with the University of Memphis' Loewenberg School of Nursing.

Hansa Patel, the research executive adviser from Nrupur Institute says that it was a dream come true to help improve the health care in India and to exchange ideas between students and faculty in India and Jackson.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Lin Zhan, dean of the School of Nursing at the University of Memphis, and Dr. David Rudd, provost for the University of Memphis, along with Hansa Patel.

According to officials, the agreement between the two institutions would aim to deliver bachelor's degree in nursing, master's in nursing, short-term exchange programme and tutoring in India, faculty development workshops in India and Jackson, use video technology to enhance long distance contact.
