The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals (male only) for filling 260 vacancies to the post of Navik (General Duty) through direct recruitment to posted in the ICG, an Armed Force of the Union. The online application process towards the same starts from January 26, 2020 and closes on February 2, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for Navik post through Indian Coast Guard Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 22 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST) and 3 years (OBC) respectively as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility
Desirous candidates applying for Navik post through Indian Coast Guard Recruitment must have passed Intermediate/10+2/Class XII or equivalent examination (50% marks minimum) with Mathematics and Physics from a recognised University/Institution with minimum 50% marks (aggregate) as well as in English as specified in the notification.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates to Navik post through Indian Coast Guard Recruitment will be done through Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination.
Candidates selected to Navik post through Indian Coast Guard Recruitment will be paid an emolument of Rs. 21,700 per month.
