Interested candidates can apply online from 26th July to 24th August 2022. Also, the last date to submit the offline applications is 9th September 2022. The Indian Army has released a total of 191 vacancies including 175 for SSC (Tech) Men, 14 for SSC (Tech) Women, and 2 for Widows of Defence Personnel Only. Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2022; Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Army SSC Tech eligibility criteria comprise major factors like age limit, educational qualifications, and nationality shared below in a detailed manner

Age Limit

• SSC(Tech)- 60 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 31 Women: The age limit of the candidates must be between 20 to 27 years as on 01 April 2023.

• Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only. SSCW (Non-Tech) [Non-UPSC] and SSCW(Tech)- The maximum age limit must be 35 years of age as on 01 April 2023

Educational Qualification

Candidates who possess an Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of an Engineering Degree course are considered eligible to apply for Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2022. The educational qualification for Widows of Indian Armed Forces

Defence Personnel who Died in Harness are as follow

• SSCW (Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC). Graduation in any Discipline.

• SSCW (Tech). B.E./B. Tech in any Engineering stream.

Note: Candidates pursuing the final year of the Engineering degree course must produce proof of passing the degree exam with mark sheets of all semesters/years by 01 Apr 2023.

Nationality

A candidate must either be

• A citizen of India, or

• a subject of Nepal, or

• a person of Indian origin who has come from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Step 1: Visit the official website i.e www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Step 2: After that, click on 'Officer Entry Apply/Login' and hit the Registration link (If not registered yet).
