Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2019 For Men And Women In Technical/Non-technical Wings

The Indian Army has invited online applications from eligible unmarried Indian nationals (Male and Female) for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in all Arms/ services to be appointed across the Indian sub-continent. The application process towards the same will start from 23 January 2019 and will close on 21 February 2019.

The selection will be for SSC (T) - 53 Men for 175 vacancies, and and SSC Women (T) - 24 Women for 14 vacancies in the various engineering streams comprising Civil, Mechanical, Electrical/Electrical and Electronics; Aeronautical/Ballistics/Avionics; Computer Science & Engg/Computer Technology/Information Technology; Electronics, and Telecom/Telecommunication/Satellite; Opto Electronics/Fibre Optics/Micro Electronics and Micro Wave; Production Engineering and Architecture/Building Construction Technology.

Age Criteria And Fees

Interested unmarried candidates (Men and Women) applying for Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical through the Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 20 years of age as on 01 October 2019 and not exceeded 27 years of age. For SSC Widows they should not have exceeded 35 years of age as on 07 October 2019.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates (Men and Women) applying for Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical through the Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2019 must possess an Engineering Degree/BE/B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline/stream as mentioned above and detailed in the notification.

For SSC Widows (Non-Technical), the candidate must possess a Graduation in any discipline, and for SSC Widows (Technical), the candidate must possess a BE/B.Tech in any engineering discipline.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Short Service Commission (SSC) through the Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2019 will be done through the Shortlisting of applicants, who will be alloted centres for their SSB to be conducted in two stages - Screening Test and SSB Interviews involving Physical Tests, GD, GD Tasks, Individual Tasks and Conference Interview.

Candidates selected will be granted Short Service Commission (SSC) on probation in the Rank of Lt, following which they will be appointed in different designations in the different engineering streams/disciplines.

The selected SSC candidates will be paid an emolument in the scale ranging from Rs. 56,100/ - Rs. 2, 50,000 per month based on the nature of service and rank held under Level 10 to Level 18.
