Indian Army Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 191 SSC (Tech) Posts Before August 22

The Indian Army has invited online applications from eligible and interested unmarried Indian nationals (male and female), and also from Widows of Defence Personnel for filling 191 vacancies to the post of Short Service Commission (SSC) officers in the Technical wing through direct recruitment to be posted across the Indian sub-continent. The application process towards the same starts from July 24, 2019 and closes on August 22, 2019 by 1200 hours.
The recruitment will be for various technical/engineering streams comprising Civil, Mechanical, Electrical/Electrical & Electronics, Aeronautical/Ballistics/Avionics, Computer Science and Engineering/Computer Technology/Information Technology, Electronics and Telecom/Telecommunication/Electronics and Communication/Satellite Communication, Production Engineering etc. as detailed in the notification.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of SSC (Tech) Officers through the Indian Army Recruitment 2019 must have attained 20 years of age as on April 01, 2020 and not have exceeded 27 years (35 years for Widows of Defence Personnel only) as specified in the advertisement.

Educational Criteria, Eligibility And Experience

Candidates interested in applying for the post of SSC (Tech) Officers through the Indian Army Recruitment 2019 must possess a B.E/B.Tech in relevant engineering discipline; Graduation or B.E/B.Tech in any technical stream (for Widows of Defence Personnel only) from a recognized University/Institute duly approved by AITCE as detailed in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as SSC (Tech) Officers through the Indian Army Recruitment 2019 will be done through Shortlisting and SSB interviews.
Candidates selected for SSC (Tech) Officers course will be paid an emolument of Rs. 56,100 per month.
