An official employment notification has been released by the Indian Army, calling out for interested, eligible candidates to apply for the positions of Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant.

Eligibility

Educational requirement

Soldier Technical:

The candidates interested in applying for this post should be one of the following:

• Class 12 intermediate examination pass in science with physics, chemistry, maths and English with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate and minimum 40 per cent marks in each subject
• Class 10 class pass with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate from an AICTE recognised institute.

Soldier Nursing Assistant:

The candidates interested in applying for this post should be one of the following:

• Class 12 pass in science with physics, chemistry, biology and English with minimum 40 per cent marks in compulsory subjects and minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate
• BSc graduate (botany/zoology/bio science) and English

Note

Stipulation of marks laid down at 10+2 level will not be applicable for BSc degree.

Age criteria

The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 23 years and be a minimum 17 years 6 months.

Salary details

The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 23,000.

Selection process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a physical fitness test, physical measurement test, medical and common entrance examination.
