Glimpse at the Vacancies

This recruitment drive is set to fill 76 vacancies, divided as follows:

  • 70 positions for NCC Men
  • 6 positions for NCC Women

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, candidates must meet certain educational criteria, details of which can be found in the official notification on the website. Additionally, there is an age limit - applicants must be between 19 and 25 years old as of July 1, 2025. This means only those born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. This criterion applies to both NCC cadets and wards of Battle Casualties.

Selection Process - How Does It Work?

The selection process is rigorous and designed to pick the best candidates. Here's how it works:

  • Shortlisting of Applications - Based on the details submitted, candidates will be shortlisted.
  • Selection Centre Allocation - Shortlisted candidates will receive an email notification with their allocated Selection Centre.
  • SSB Date Selection - Candidates must log in to the official website and select their Service Selection Board (SSB) interview dates on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • SSB Interview & Medical Examination - Those who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical exam.
  • Final Merit List & Training - Candidates deemed medically fit will receive a joining letter for training, based on merit.

What Happens After Selection?

Upon commissioning, newly inducted officers will be on a six-month probationary period. During this time, if an officer is found unsuitable for any reason, their commission may be terminated.
