The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the Airforce Agniveer Notification 2024 for Vayu Intake 02/2025, opening opportunities for unmarried male and female Indian citizens under 21. Applications will be accepted from 8th July 2024 to 28th July 2024. The detailed notification will be available on the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

Recruitment Details

The Indian Airforce Agniveer Recruitment aims to fill approximately 2500 positions, with selected candidates serving a four-year term. The salary package starts at Rs. 30,000 per month in the first year, with increments in subsequent years. The maximum age limit for applicants is 21 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Only unmarried male and female candidates who are Indian citizens can apply.
Age: Applicants must be born between 3rd July 2004 and 3rd January 2007.
Education: Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing at least 50% marks overall and 50% in English.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Male Candidates: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, 10 push-ups in 1 minute, 10 sit-ups in 1 minute, and 20 squats in 1 minute.
Female Candidates: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes, 10 sit-ups in 1 minute 30 seconds, and 15 squats in 1 minute.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises three phases:

Phase I: Online test starting from 18th October 2024.
Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II.
Phase III: Medical examination.

Salary Package

The salary structure for Agniveers is as follows:
