The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for recruiting 249 Commissioned Officers through the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch, and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches through AFCAT entry as well as NCC special entry. The applications process towards the same starts from December 1, 2019 and closes on December 30, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Commissioned Officers post through Indian Air Force Recruitment 2019 must have attained 20 years of age as on January 1, 2021 and not have exceeded 24 years (Flying Branch) and 26 years (Ground Duty) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 250 as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode or any other mode as applicable. Candidates, however, registering for NCC Special entry are exempted from paying the examination fee.
