The Department of Posts has invited applications for the recruitment of 11 Staff Car Driver posts in the Mail Motor Service (MMS), Bengaluru. The recruitment will be conducted on a deputation/absorption basis, and eligible candidates must submit their applications in offline mode within 60 days from the publication of the recruitment notification in the Employment News.

According to the official notification, 10 vacancies are available at the Mail Motor Service, Bengaluru, while one vacancy has been notified for the Mysuru Sub-Depot. Candidates selected for these positions will be appointed under Pay Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month, along with admissible government allowances.

The recruitment is restricted to serving Central Government employees. Preference will be given to eligible officials of the Department of Posts, including Dispatch Riders and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). If suitable candidates are unavailable within the department, eligible employees from other Central Government departments may also be considered.
The maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date for submission of applications.
The notification also permits Armed Forces personnel who are due to retire or will be transferred to the reserve within one year to apply, provided they fulfil all prescribed eligibility conditions.
